Evaluation of
Storyboard Blueprint
Following a
verbal feedback session with my media tutor, it was established that in order
to improve my story line, I needed to consider the setting to illustrate a
sense of exterior location and geography. This would allow me the opportunity
for iconography and macro meaning that is attached to a specific place and this
will also allow me to use the space as props for effective representation. For these
reasons, the first five frames of my storyboard will need a different approach,
to hint at my theme, almost instantaneously.
My tutor advised me to consider in
greater detail, where I should place the opening titles in the two minute
introductory film sequence. After changing and adjusting the storyline, I can
do this by having the titles in a specific scene where they will give a greater
reference to the theme. I am going to challenge conventional film titles, but
yet give the titles meaning and association to the theme.
With reference to several individual
frames, I lacked giving details to shot movement and camera angles. When I
produce my second storyboard draft, I will endeavour to consider and include
the relevant details to ensure feelings will be evoked and representation is
primarily focused on.
